By attending this precious winter school, I have gained an adequate understanding of the teaching method taken by universities in the mainland. Besides, during the teaching, the teacher has used many examples in mainland China to explain the course materials, which broadens my knowledge about the financial and economic areas in the Chinese market as well as some useful quantitative methods.
What impressed me most in the program is that I have learned a lot of advanced and appealing knowledge during this one-month winter break. Though the course is quite challenging, with clear explanations and careful guidance, I am able to tackle the difficulties and absorb the knowledge at the end.
Besides, through the group project set by the course in the program, I was given a chance to communicate with and make friends with students from other universities in foreign countries. We have used the opportunity to share experiences of studying in respective universities. Moreover, we have shared our doubts during learning, solved the difficulties together, and also shared our opinions regarding different current issues that are happening globally through the various discussion sessions available throughout this program.
Lastly, I’m very grateful that China Vision can provide this opportunity to students like me to absorb knowledge from a well-known university like Fudan University. Being chosen as a China Vision participant, I am sure that I have broadened my horizon and reap a bumper harvest in the ocean of knowledge.
